A smart leader can keep the culture of his nation homogeneous for a long time, but he is helpless against the interchange of genes.

The life and crimes of boy band impresario Lou Pearlman. The film tracks his life from discovering NSYNC and Backstreet Boys, to his perpetration of one of the largest ponzi schemes in US history.

This holiday season, the magician will add another entry to his résumé with a Netflix special. He hopes the show, which will tape in July at the Brooklyn Paramount, will give audiences a better sense of who he is as a person. But Pearlman won’t just perform mentalism on the thousands of live audience members in New York. “My hope is for the special to be groundbreaking,” he says. “So I’m also going to interact with the people at home and see if I can get inside their heads through their TVs.”

A power outage leaves her alone in the studio, reviewing her life, when a mysterious woman appears through the mirror and gives her a pair of Red Shoes. The cursed shoes dance beautifully, but endlessly. The singer is drawn irresistibly into the fey world beyond the mirror, where she must redeem three magic symbols from the mysterious woman in order to obtain release from the cursed shoes.
